I need help studying for the final exam next week.

1.) Simplify: 4e^3*e^5 and (e^5x)/(4e^2)
2.) Write 2^6=64 in exponential form.
3.) Write log(100)=2 in exponential form.

~Needs steps and answer for full understanding! :) Thank you very much!

Problems 2 and 3 are simply following a formula to convert from logs to exp's and exp's to logs:

and

http://www.analyzemath.com/logfunction/logarithm_exponential.html

Problem 1 is just applying some basic exponent rules: http://www.purplemath.com/modules/exponent.htm

You will find these links have some clear, concise examples and explanations.

If you have your final exam in one week and have no idea how tro do these then you are in serious trouble. Do you know what "exponential form" means? (I think you have miscopied (2).) For (1) you are expected to know that \(\displaystyle a^xa^y= a^{x+y}\) and \(\displaystyle \frac{a^x}{a^y}= a^{x- y}\).
