Here is one way:

For graph 1, consider three separate areas/regions:
1) the area above the x-axis for –3<x<0 formed by the cubic equation;
2) the triangle formed by the line and the x-axis for –4<x<0;
and finally, 3) a little sliver of area formed by the cubic equation and the x-axis for -4<x<-3.

Add the first two together and subtract the third.

For graph 2, calculate the intersection points of the two equations and use a subtraction method similar to that which I described above.
