Ok, I know the answer to the problem, I just need to see the work, because I can't figure out how they got it.

2/(4-x)+5/(x-4)

The Answer is 3/(x-4)

Please help if you can.

note that ? (4-x) = - (x-4)

then

\(\displaystyle \frac{2}{4-x} + \frac{5}{x-4} \ = \ - \ \frac{2}{x-4} + \frac{5}{x-4} \ = \\)

Now continue...
