What do you mean by "the top row"? You appear to have two expressions:
. . . . .\(\displaystyle \L \left[\frac{x^2}{x}\, +\, 10\right]\, +\, \left[9x\, -\, \frac{10}{x}\, +\, 10\right]\)
Or did you mean the following...?
. . . . .\(\displaystyle \L \left[\frac{x^2}{x\, +\, 10}\right]\, +\, \left[9x\, -\, \frac{10}{x\, +\, 10}\right]\)
...which could also be formatted as:
. . . . .[ (x^2) / (x + 10) ] + [9x - (10) / (x + 10) ]
Or did you mean something else?
