ACT Math Problems

I'm having lot of trouble in some Math problems. I'de would like to know how to do these type pf problems. Thank you.

We can't teach from here: no classroom.

Can you show how far you can get by yourself...

I got the Elkville High done with substitution, so never mind on that.

For the Triangle, Angle CDE, I got 55 degress. For Angle CED, I got 25 degrees (from 180 - 25 = 155, then 180 - 155) Add the two up it is 80. Then subtract the 80 from 180 and it is 100. I guess I got that one too. (At first I was assuming both of those angles were 55.)

The Car Rental Company one, I'm stumped on. I don't know how to approach the problem. At first I was going to make the full-size car and the compact car separate variables but in the problem they already have x for days and y for miles. I don't know what to do.
