Suppose x,y,z are real numbers in a set S with an upperbound of two and a lower bound of -11. Suppose also absolute value of (x-z) < 5 and absolute value of (y-z)<7. Prove absolute value of (3x-y)<34.

I am stuck on this one. I figure I would use the triangle inequality at some point, but I can't even get to that point. Can somebody help me get started??
