|x-3|>7

x-3>7 or x-3<-7

I added 3 to the 7 and -7 and got.....

x>10 or x<-4

Then I checked them.....

10-3>7 =7

-4-3>7 =-7

No Answer

Is this Right?

x>10 or x<-4 , this is correct!

Then I checked them.....

10-3>7 =7

-4-3<−7

If you obtained a solution, then why do you think the answer is "no solution"?

Eliz.

P.S. To check an inequality, plug something from within the interval (not the interval endpoint) into the inequality. To check, for instance, "x > 10" as a solution interval, pick something like "12", and plug this into the original inequality.
