Hello, About some weeks ago I was successfull in writing down a formulla which is able to find the 6th term by inserting any 5 consective terms of a sequence, I've written evrything in details in the attached microsoft word document & a .exe file which is available in the following link;

http://www.mathhelpforum.com/math-help/ ... php?t=3410

which is able to compute the formulla I found...

I'll be glad to recieve comments from your side..

I'm afraid I don't understand your question. This is a tutoring forum, not a paper-review service or something. And of course it would be unsafe to download files from unknown sources.

Please make your tutoring request clear. Thank you.

Thanks Eliz,
My main question was asked in the attachment available inside the given link,
I'm asking for a method provided by calculus to decrease the number of terms entered and keep the range untouched...
If you are not comfortable with downloading the .doc file this is the formulla;

f(6)=5*(f(5))-10*(f(4))+10*(f(3))-5*(f(2))+(f(1))

Which I came up with using derivatives of a function, The range of this formulla is such that the 3rd derivative of the equation governing the sequence should be either zero or linear...

About downloading the file be sure I'm not a hacker :wink:
