For example, given 12345, the median is 3. If the list is even, say, 123456, add the middle numbers and divide by 2. In this example, 3+4 = 7. Then 7/2 = 3.5 is the median. The mode is the number that appears the most in a list of numbers. The range is found by subtracting the smallest number in a given list from the largest.
