I believe that you first do whats in parenthasis
which would give me a -10-5..then my next step would look like this...-10x-5+3x=37....then I would take my 3x and add it to my -10x getting my next step which would look like this...-7x-5=37....now I take my -5 and divide it by -5 to get rid of it and adding -5 to 37, getting my next step which would look like this.....7x=32..on my next step I have to get x by it self divideing 7x into 7x getting rid of 7...and then do the same to 37 divided by 7...the answer that Iam getting for x is obviously wrong..but where? :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :(

Take it easy...simply add 5 to both sides: 7x = 42 ; kapish?

-7x - 5 = 37

-7x - 5
+ 5 = 37 + 5

-7x = 42

-7x/
(-7) = 42/ (-7)

x = -6
..on my next step I have to get x by it self divideing 7x into 7x getting rid of 7...and then do the same to 37 divided by 7...the answer that Iam getting for x is obviously wrong..but where? :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :(
