Let C = number of cows, P = number of pigs, H = number of hens.
. . . Note that: .C < 10

There are 100 animals: . C + P + H .= .100 . [1]

They cost $100: . 10C + 3P + 0.5H .= .100 .= .100 . [2]

Where does this take you? (Hint: Multiply Equation [2] by "2".)
