I need help getting the answer into the computer system, so please read carefully:

-Give the answer as a multiple of pi. Do not use decimal numbers. The answer should be a fraction or an integer. Note that pi is already included in the answer so you just have to enter the appropriate multiple. E.g. if the answer is pi/2 you should enter 1/2. If there is more than one answer enter them separated by commas.

1. (sin(t))^2=1/2

t=________pi

It Gives me Pi all I have to do is put in the number....

2.(cos(t))^2=1/4

t=________pi

What are the variables (factions) that I should use?

Thanks

The above implies that the only difficulty you're having is in entering your answers into the interface.

Please reply showing your work and your answers, along with the error messages you are receiving. (You may be entering the correct answers, and the error is in the script, not in your work.)

Please be specific. Thank you.

Eliz.
