2 column proof on theorem

the directions are: write a proof on each theorem, and the theorem im having trouble with states: any point on the perpendicular bisector of a segment is equidistant from the endpoints of that segment.

im having trouble figuring out how to start this proof (given, and prove statement.)
 
Seems to me you will have two triangles with 1 common side, two equal sides and included right angles.

This problem should be similar to some example problem in your book.

Start with drawing a sketch first.

Please show us your work, indicating exactly where you are stuck - so that we know where to begin to help you.

Geeshhh....about as silly as: Art takes half the apples in a bag, and Ben takes the other half;
prove that Art and Ben have same number of apples. :shock:
