I have to prove: All sides of a rhombus are congruent.

We have to do this by 2-column (High school type) proofs. I just need help getting started. If I know how to prove it, I can write out all of the steps... Sometimes these simple ones really get me!

Thanks a bunch!

Most textbooks define a rhombus as being a quadrilateral with all sides equal. If you are asked to prove that all sides are congruent, you must have been given some other definition of a rhombus. If not, just state...
1) ABCD is a rhombus...........1) given.
2) AB=BC=CD=DA.................2) by definition.

We have to prove that. We are allowed to use "A rhombus is a parallelogram with two adjacent sides congruent". Would that be the same?

Also, I need help proving: The diagonals of a rhombus are congruent. We are allowed to use "A rhombus is a parallelogram with two adjacent sides congruent" and "all sides of a rhombus are congruent" if needed as reasons.

EDIT: Nevermind. I no longer need help with these proofs. Thank you.
