1) What does it mean for two figures to be mathematically similar?

2) What is the definition of a scale factor?

i have to include answers to those in a paragraph for a big project that im almost finished with. ive been out sick for a few days so i havent been able to ask my teacher.

Yes, but the goal of tutoring is generally that the student learn to succeed on his own, not that he be provided with the answers to copy down.
