Here's the question:
I was trying to solve this problem using a system of 4 simultanous equations with 4 variables, each variable being one of the areas which the big square is divided into. But for some reasons, my system of 4 simultanous equations didn't have a discrete solution.
Anyone thinks this can be solved using the 4 simultaneous equations system? Or do you pretty much have to use trig or calculus?
